Snapchat Conversion API

Setup Guide​

To set up Snapchat Conversions API as a destination, you’ll need to provide a Conversion API Token:

  1. Log into your Business Manager account and go to the Business Details page.
  2. In the OAuth Apps section of that page, you'll find an area labeled "Conversions API Tokens". Click Generate Token to create a new token.

Hashing and normalization​

  • When Apply hashing (SHA256) is enabled, Extract lowercases email-like identifiers before hashing.
  • Phone identifiers are trimmed and lowercased before hashing in this connector.

Your source dataset must be compatible with the parameter requirements of Snapchat's Conversions API, as outlined here: Snapchat Conversions API documentation. This includes adhering to the expected formats and field types. If your data does not meet these requirements, the sync may fail.

Note: Extract can apply the hashing and normalization rules above for this destination when you leave automatic hashing enabled.
