High-Level Information:

The TikTok Account API allows you to manage and access various data related to TikTok user accounts. The integration focuses on pulling data for the following types of reports:

  1. User Profile Information: These reports provide detailed data on the user profiles linked to your TikTok account, including profile data such as username, profile picture, bio, follower count, and engagement metrics. This data helps you monitor user activity and engagement with your content.
  2. Follower and Engagement Reports: These reports offer insights into the followers of your TikTok account, including follower growth, demographic data, and engagement metrics (likes, shares, comments, etc.). This information can be used to analyze audience behavior and improve content strategy.
  3. Content Interaction Reports: These reports give you detailed data about the performance of your TikTok videos, including metrics like views, likes, shares, comments, and completion rates. This data helps you evaluate which content resonates most with your audience and fine-tune your content strategy.

Source Setup Guide​

Step 1​

Step 2​

Follow the authentication flow (OAuth) in Tiktok's website to grant Singular the required permissions.

Step 3​

Confirm you can see your email and profile picture, and that the source is Connected.

Connection Setup Guide

Once you conneted Tiktok Accounts to a destination, you will also need to configure:

  • Connection Pull Schedule: Determines how frequently data is extracted from the source.
  • Backfill (Days): Specifies the duration for which historical data will be retrieved during each connection run.
  • Destination specific settings: different settings such as "Dataset Name" or "Target Schema" (depanding on your destination)
  • Schema Migration Policy: Controls how Singular will handle schema changes from the sourcee source.
